Obverse Die match of Severus Alexander denarii eastern mint(s)

Looking through my collection I found a number of obverse die matches.  Here are four coins with the same obverse die.

The specimen with Pontif Max reverse is a bit odd because the reverse legend does not correspond to the reign of Severus Alexander but does to the reign of Elagabalus.  In my Coins of the Roman Empire Vol VI, the coin is assigned to an uncertain issue but with the die obverse matches, it's probably suitable to assign it to Issue IV

Thank you for sharing! Very nice coins, and another impressive number of various reverses with the same obverse die. There were 5 reverses for similar obverse die with missing R, and now we can see 4 reverses with another contemporaneous obverse die. It is interesting to observe how many reverses the mint was able to utilize at a time.

Two Eauze denarii, as noted and illustrated by Dieulafait, also showed an obv. die coupled with two of the same rev. types, CONCORDIA seated and the TR P II Roma seated type. All three Eauze dies, however, are different from those of your two coins that link the same two rev. types.

The Eauze CONCORDIA die even differs from yours in two minor details: double rather than single cornucopia, and one corner of throne back visible beside Concordia's r. shoulder.

Curtis,
I have just finished loading my other Concordia denarii for a total of seven.  These show a range of minor variations including double cornucopia.
