looks very similar to SBCV-2084 John III Ducas-Vatatzes (Nicaea). AR Trachy AR. Magnesia mint.

The style is a little off for the EL  Aspron trachy of Alexius III , also this photo looks billion at best.

Here is my SBCV-2009a for a comparison.

33mm at widest. 4.3gm

I think that this looks like a coin of Alexios III, it does not look like a coin of John III

You might be correct  but I think it is SBCV-2084  based on style since we have no legends. Here is the image I found.
