« on: January 06, 2021, 07:22:37 pm »
Here is our 2020 Member of the Year poll!  The title Tribunus Plebis (male) or Tribuna Plebis (female) is awarded to our Classical Numismatics Discussion Board Member of the Year. I think a lot of people never read outside their specific area of interest and perhaps the word "Administration" scares many off??

No. It's the same with the BOT "Head to Heads", it is a struggle to get the minimum 10 votes.

To be honest, I thought I had already voted and only just realized this was a new thread. I had previously seconded someone and thought that was a vote because the rules for nominating and seconding were they had to be someone you were going to vote for.. One thing that was confusing was the nomination and voting thread titles are so similar that I didn't realize until just now they were different.

And maybe I am just not very observant.

I think a lot of people register so they can get the full features of the site without necessarily planning to post much. Similar for polls probably. Maybe they feel like they aren't in a good position to judge member of the year nominations.  But they are totally are! At least it is over 50 now.

I think many times things get lost in all of the sections we have here.  Nice to see over 50 now, the banner must have helped! :)

You must have 3 or more posts to vote.  Make a couple more posts and then come back and look at the poll.
