Mamluc Talisman

I received this on consignment described as:

Mamluk Talisman, rare, two verses from the Quran, used to protect from the evil eye.

I don't know how accurate that is and it is a bit too incomplete for the shop. I don't think I have any references to research it. If anyone knows anything, please share your wisdom.

This type of  pendants is earlier than Mamluk, it belongs to late Umayyad and early Abbasid dynasties. It is a kind of amulets aimed to preserve its bearer. It consists of  unknown symbols and sometimes Arabic letters.
