My first Domitian Cistophorus

I was thrilled to win this one. I have been looking for a nice Domitian Cistophorus from quite some time but never found one that satisfied me. This one fits the bill perfectly. It has a very nice portrait, a really interesting reverse and it is also quite rare. I was lucky to win this won as there tends to be stiff competition for Domitian's silver coins that do not feature Minerva. Don't get me wrong I find the minerva series fascinating but not everyone feels the same way.

Anyway, this coin will have a special place in my collection.
