Hello. I have strange feelings about this coin. I can't surely blame it as a fake. But in general the style looks a bit odd comparing to other coins of this type in catalogues an on the internet. Need your opinions, dear colleagues.

I agree with your observations ,it is off, the style is not right.

It is a modern fake.  There is someone out there interpreting a wide range of Byzantine coins in this same unusual style.
