Eye of Horus Nail or Awl?
« on: August 24, 2020, 07:17:04 pm »
Any thoughts on what this piece may be? To my eyes, the design at the top looks like it could be a partial Eye of Horus, but I can't find anything similar to it at all. I've checked online museum catalogues and various antiquities dealers. It is supposedly Egyptian, so I am posting it here. It is either some sort of decorative nail or perhaps a model/ceremonial awl or chisel. It measures 4.8cm in length.
