Note.
Commemorative issue for Augustus (died 14 AD)

This interesting issue was struck by Hadrian to commemorate the foundation of Nicopolis by Augustus on the site of the first emperor's greatest victory, the defeat of Marc Antony in the Battle of Actium in 31 BC. The legends KTICMA CЄBACTOY / NЄIKOΠΟΛЄωC literally translate as 'foundation of Augustus / Victory city'.

Hi oki,

Nice coin! :)

That is a type I would like to own.

I also have an Augustus coin (posthumous issue) from the same city.

Here is my coin (first coin):

I noticed that your coin isn't listed in Oikonomidou. It must be quite rare.

with coin in hand a correction is needed, on the reverse

Nike in biga r., holding whip and palm branch

All Nikes have palm in RPC III
Some have whip
Some have wreath

Sometimes palm is mentioned sometimes not

So IMHO it could be
Nike in biga r., holding wreath and palm branch RPC 509,
Nike in biga l., holding wreath and palm branch RPC 546A

Nike in biga r., holding whip and palm branch RPC 468, 560
Nike in biga l., holding whip and palm branch RPC 547, 548,

RPC 541, 474 conformation needed on whip or wreath
All the Best,
Eric
