Geta, what city?
« on: August 13, 2020, 05:20:48 pm »
I could use a little assistance from the group please. I know it's not a very pretty coin and only about half the legend is visible. It is clearly Geta. The reverse has a clear ΑΔΡΙΑΝΩΝ but there are several cities with that legend. If anyone can ID the coin, I'd appreciate it. (21.8 mm, 6.64 g, 7 h)

Thanks,
Tom

What's the matter with Adana in Cilicia?

That is one city I'd considered but I don't find the type in any of my references.
