Balkan found...

As seen in my poor photos (without flash and with flash), the rondel near the top is fully gold-gilded.
The top has an attachment loop. The very bottom has a slight bend that doesn't appear to be from plow damage
and is perfect for cleaning under fingernails.

Could this be from an expensive personal grooming kit? Late Roman - Byzantine era?

Just surmising and have no real clue... Help!
