Looks to be very well formed, almost industrial in quality.

Do you know where it is from?

My first thoughts are late-Medieval or post-medieval such a Janissary but just a guess.

I looked through Stone's Glossary of arms and armor and there was nothing identical but it does look similar to a lot of the 16th to early 18th century European pieces.

Thanks.  I will try to find a reference.  I just noticed that the sender wrote that it came in a group of Western Asiatic weapons. He collects Western Asiatic weapons but was unable to identify it, perhaps supporting the possibility that it is European.

West Asiatic takes me back to my original suggestion - Ottoman lance head, likely 16th to 18th century.  Possibly Persian too.
