Hello,

Diameter is 20 mm, at first sight i thought it was a Prussian uniform button but then i noticed a difference. I appreciate any comments.

Sincerely

Although button-like decorative objects were worn in the Indus Valley, China, and Rome in ancient times, functional buttons with buttonholes for fastening or closing clothes appeared first in 13th century Germany. The first button makers guild was formed in 1250 A.D. The guild produced magnificent buttons, worn only by the wealthy.
