CILICIA, Aegeae. Hadrian. 133-34 AD Sabina bust unlisted Ae
« on: April 17, 2020, 11:03:17 am »
Dear Cf,

Normally this would be a Tetradrachm, but here we have in hand a typical Ae As, with some crusting ( not a copper core of a platted coin)
it has even the same die pair as the known tetradrachms in RPC https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coins/3/3352

Reference.
for a Tetradrachm RPC III, 3349; Prieur 721; SNG France 2230-32; SNG Levante 1719.

Issue Year 180 (ΠΡ)
