Dear Friends,
I am very happy to have added this coin to my collection. The condition is certainly rare.

Obverse: Diademed male bust facing slightly left, wearing triangular jewelled tiara, small wings above, long locks of hair falling to each side and behind, shoulders drapped, semi-circular legend from 5 to 7 o'clock in angular simple kufic contaning four laqabs of the ruler, all within beaded border. Al-Malik al-'alim al-adil Najm al-Din Mailik Diyarbakr.

Reverse: Female bust facing, wearing three-pointed crenelated crown and necklace, curled tresses falling on each side, shoulders draped, semi-circular legend from 5 to 7 o'clock in angular simple Kufic, as on obverse, containing the ruler's kunya and ism, his pedigree back three generations and the date, continuing in the field to right and left. It is a beautiful coin. I just ordered my copy of S&S. This may be the first time I have ever "bought the book before the coin." Stkp

Yes they are good. I am sure you will like them. They are full of good information and the titles are very well done. I have the others too. Lane Poole, Edhem, Whealan, Artuk, as a serious collector I need them.
