According to the historical sources the Sica was a melee weapon and was meant to be able to get at the soldier behind their shield.

The were therefore longer than a gladius, likely the length of a spate, so many times as long as yours.

Names are unclear but it seems there are several different weapons of this shape.

One was used by the Dacians against the Romans during the Trajanic wars.  Its as a sword-sized item.  I have seen it called sick and falx.

But there was also apparently a knife-sized object like yours. 

An image of one from a late La Tene era warrior's grave (c. 1st c BC) is found in Radosław Andrzej Gawroński's Roman horsemen against Germanic tribes. The Rhineland frontier cavalry fighting styles 31 BC–AD 256, on page 61.
