Coin noob
« on: March 07, 2020, 10:00:15 am »
Good morning,

I have a coin that I am trying to identify, but I do not want to be told what it is; I would like to try to search this myself....however, I could use a bit of help in which section I should be looking.

Greek? Roman? Other?

Well, it clearly says COPY on it.  Are you trying to find out what it is a copy of?

So long as you understand it is NOT a genuine coin, you should look at Greek coins to identify the type of coin it copies.  The best place to start is by transcribing and understanding
the Greek inscription letters. Good luck!

The reverse is known as a Man-faced bull.   You can start there.
