I have 4 coins that I am trying to ID. Here is the first. I have spent some time looking, and believe it is a
Valens coin, with
GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse, Thessalonian
mint. I'd like some
help to be sure, and welcome any constructive comments.
The coin is 17mm at its widest point. My
scale measures grams, but this does not register, so the
weight is unknown.
The soldier on the
reverse is holding a laborum with a
Chi Rho.
I
hope this enough to go on, with the pictures.
If I've messed up, sorry!
Thanks, Greg
