A really neat recent acquisition! https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-158300

It's interesting that many of Domitian's 'Capta' types are closely modelled on his father's Judean ones, it's as if he is carrying on the family business.

Wonderful coin and nice find...must be rare having only a short striking of a couple of years.
Like you wrote...beautiful with green patina!
The trophy with captives is iconic...poor German Barbarians....

I've always loved this type of green patina.

Not really a common type, having been struck only once, in the first 85 A.D. issue.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

Agreed. The RIC frequency rating underestimates the rarity.
