In the year 85 A.D. the mint of Rome produced its largest output during the reign of Domitian, with a great number of types in each metal and an high number of varieties.
I agree there were a large
variety of
types struck in 85, perhaps only rivalled by 88 with the Secular Games issues. But as far as
quantity, surely any year in the late 80s or early 90s produced vastly more coinage than 85!
Nevertheless, excellent coin.
