Fel Temp-Mint help
« on: May 14, 2019, 05:19:29 pm »
Not sure if you can help me but you guys are typically right on.

Got a Fallen Horseman

21.3mm 5.1 g

Obverse: DN CONSTAN-TIVS PF AVG
Reverse: FEL TEMP RE-PARATIO
Gamma in left field

Can not read the mint, but thought the shield may be a clue for identifying.

I have been way to busy at work lately, not getting enough coin time.

Thanks for your help,

Blayne

Not sure.  Heraclea as a guess, but by no means certain.  Little more than a wild guess.

The style looks like Heraclea to me too, but it looks like there are pellets on the shield so maybe it could be Cyzikus

That was certainly my number two choice.

Cyzicus, Nicomedia and Heraclea and the three mints and still trip me up.

Is Gamma minted at all 3 mints?

And a few other mints.
