aurelian orbis with no star

3g 22mm silvered
Aurelian AE Ant.270-5 AVRELIANVS AVG,
 radiate, cuirassed bust right / RESTITVT ORBIS,
Woman standing R, presenting wreath to Aurelian.

NO STAR??? in lower ctr,. where all the others have a star
figures are very small which is unusual
and the mintmark seems to start with an X and a C ..very far apart
can anyone help with where its from

Hello George,

You can consult the MER-RIC website and look up this coin by titulature, reverse type, etc. That should give you an answer.

great, narrowed it down to XXi epsilon as mintmark
but none of the coins show so much space above the two figures

on closer look its imp C aurelianus avg
and resistOR orbis and i think a c as the mintmark
