« on: April 04, 2019, 03:14:13 pm »
Hello,

Coins called "fake for study"... are fake for sell as real coins. Or just struck for compare with real coins and lear how to see if fake? Who struck those coins?

"Fake for study" is just a fancy way to say the coin is fake and allows the dealer to still sell it.

I just added an electrotype / galvanocopy page to NumisWiki.  It is a wiki, so please update and improve it.

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/NumisWiki/view.asp?key=Electrotype

I also added some additional examples to the fake coin reports. The fake coin edges in the fake coin study images of NumisWiki are good examples.
