Below is a penny of Eadwig recently added to my collection.
This completes my run of Anglo-Saxon kings from Alfred the Great to Harold II.

Obverse: +E-A-DǷIG REX   /  Small cross.
Reverse:  HERIG  /  +++  /  'ER MO
Moneyer: Heriger.

Provenance: Tetney Hoard, 1945; E.J. Winstanley Collection.

I am ashamed to say that this was the first time that I have viewed your gallery Callimachus. But I am very impressed with your collection of beautifully preserved coins and it has been a real pleasure to view it.

I think the members' gallery here is the most under-utilized section of this website.
There are many galleries here that are full of beautiful coins.
I urge every member to regularly browse the members' galleries.

You are so correct.  I followed a trail of crumbs to see the coin featured here in your gallery.  I'm agog.  I'm going to peruse your gallery some more. 
As for advocacy:  I like to search the galleries for like types when posting new coins, contemplating acquisitions, or as part of discussions.
