Author Topic: Bronze roman coin, 21.21mm diameter, 2 figures on reverse (one holding bow)  (Read 307 times)

I don't know the weight, but as mentioned above the coin is 21.21mm in diameter and made of bronze. The face on the obverse is turned to the right. The reverse features two figures one of whom holds a bow. This bow is positioned behind the figure, toward the outside of the coin. Based on my on searches, I think the figures may be the soldiers Virtus and Honos but I'm not certain. The coins are rather dark because I was reluctant to remove the patina. The images are below.

Galerius as Caesar, reverse Galerius and Jupiter
