Palaiologan aspron

Please help me to identify this late Palaiologan aspron.
Diameter: 14 mm
Weight: 0.46 g

I assume the coin was clipped neatly to make up the weight of half Ottoman akçe.
Now as the inscriptions are gone I wonder, is it possible to identify under which of the Palaiologos the coin was struck?

The fields do look a bit flat compared to the normal appearance of the 1/8 stavraton.  The appearance of the emperor looks like Manuel II, but there should be an inscription.  I agree with Simon that this coin is rather suspicious.
