Silvers artificial toned

Dear cf,

i think this seller is toning his silvers, bronze coins some time have earthen repatination  
all his Hadrians and others have some rainbow toning with is a to big coincidence, do you agree or is it the picturing ?

It could of course be, that all silver coins from this seller are from an old collection....but I do not believe it.
In my opinion (if I am allowed to state it here) they are more likely artificially toned. It is not difficult to do.

all his silvers look like this not only Hadrian, seems all his rome minted coins

Rainbow toning of silver normally indicates that the coins have been cleaned and have just started to tone (naturally). Something to do with the interference with the microscopic layer of the toning and the frequency of light.

It is normal for cleaned silver, it happens always nowadays modern silver coins (or any silver material) too, if you put to close any sulfur content environment, and that environment accelerated the start a (new) patina/toning, this is the fact why some people used this after cleaned silver coin, it is sometimes so nice, but recognizable not an ancient patina/toning. ...
