I acquired this bronze bell from a friend recently and need some help to narrow the time of made, I will post more images soon, here is one showing the art used to decorate it:

To me it appears to be early modern styleStyle dating to Baroque period, but still found on stuff into the 19th century.

Hi Shawn and FORVM members, maximal height is 15cm and maximal diameter is 13.5 cm, full bronze, very heavy

Bronze was much more valuable in ancient times. Things, such as armor, which I expect to be heavy, are always lighter and thinner than I expect them to be.

So true Joe, when you see actual armor hinges and buckles they are thin and tiny!  Even fibula's are relatively small
