Monograms on drachms and hemidrachms of Akragas
« on: January 02, 2019, 09:48:01 am »
I submiti to your attention  this article on the monograms reported on drachms and hemidrachms minted in Akragas in 212-211 B.C. during the Carthaginian occupation. Unfortunately it is in Italian ...

Yet to read the article, but it is very interesting that the cover design and
layout is an extremely close copy of the old Celator magazine.

Is this a 'magazine' type publication, or a peer-reviewed, academic type of
publication? Is there an index of earlier articles? Are they all in Italian, or
are there any in English?

"Monete antiche" is a very serious magazine published for decades in Italy. It is a magazine distributed by subscription but has activated the procedure  “peer-reviewed”  to become a scientific journal. Unfortunately, at the moment it publishes only articles in Italian but this maybe does not exclude that they can accept contributions in English ...
