I just added this fantastic example to my
collection. It is the finest example I have ever seen because it has a
complete inscription, nicely struck, perfectly centered. I have many of this
type but nothing close in regards to its beauty.
My photography needs some
work, right now this is the best photo I have taken. I will try to get it perfect when time permits, this year, in retrospect has been an awesome for finding some beautiful examples of tetartera. I believe this will be my last coin for 2018.

Thessalonica minted coin, it contains no silver. It is believed to be valued at 1/864
Hyperpyron and the Metropolitan (
Constantinople) issues at 1/288
Hyperpyron. This coins are much more common than Metropolitan coins and very abundant in today’s marketplace.
