There is a probably a reason why nobody who had them before you cleaned them further than this. Perhaps they are as nice as they will every be. Better photos might help me to be sure.

The larger photos are both Roman Republic denarii.  Photos of the reverses would be helpful for ID.  The serrated coin looks like Diana.  The male head is a bit unusual,  perhaps Saturn.  Is there any readable inscription to the right?

It certainly looks like Saturn, but Saturn usually has attributes that a pretty distinct, and I do not see traces of those on this coin.  It almost looks like a mirror image of Crawford 349/1 Memmia.  Other denarii with right facing Saturn are usually pretty busy with attributes and control letters, such as Crawford 421/1 Nonnia.

I'd say it looks like Jupiter from the denarius of Q. Antonius Balbus, like mine below.

Looks like the serrated edge is worn.  Never seen one like that.  Really need to see the other side

Yes, Jay is testing my logic.... if it looks like Saturn but doesn't have the attributes of Saturn, then it's going to be... his son, Jupiter
