Wrong eye style?
« on: December 18, 2018, 03:18:14 pm »
Hi All

I apologize in advance is my question is rather naive or not proper but based on what I saw in acsearch and on British museum web site, all Alexander great coins the eye of Hercules is like a dot but this coin the eye looks like more realistic with semi circular pupil. To me this semi circular eye pupil looks a bit strange and modern style but I could be wrong so I like to know the opinion of some expert who know Greek and Alexander III coins rather well. I appreciate your opinions.
