Does anyone have the original
work (NOT the pdf) of Newell's "Western
Seleucid Mints" ? I need a scan (if poss 600 dpi) of Plate LX, no. 1 - a
stater of Achaios.
This was the
ANS "
Numismatic Studies no. 4" which is not amongst the huge number of free-for-all
ANS articles on hathitrust, and not in the ANS's own digital
library.
The images in the current online pdf (e.g. on archive.org) are very
poor, probably just photocopies and my last
hope is that someone has this volume who could make me a
good scan of that coin no. 1 on plate LX.
The image in
Houghton SC is just a scan of that scan and is very very small and with little detail.
It is the very last image I need for the Lydian book - the last coin in the Lydian
gold coins chapter of the new book.
