Julian/ FEL TEMP-REPARATIO?
« on: October 18, 2018, 03:21:18 pm »
I am trying to ID my first coin from my collection
Coin has basically been in dw with light brushing.

What I believe this is

Julian II coin Obverse
Fel Temp-Reparatio Reverse

obverse
DN CL IVL-IANVS N C

I believe the Bust is bare-headed, cuirassed.
Using Catbooks.CH RIC list it looks like the mint should be Rome.

Not sure if the horseman description would be bare headed or Phrygian helmet

I am awaiting for delivery of my scale and Calipers so soon as I get weight and measurements I will update.

Am i on the right track with this one?

Also on a side note, do people use some sort of form to track their coins and identification?

Thanks for your help.

Blayne
