Diana as or dupondius of Hadrian
« on: September 06, 2018, 02:28:17 pm »
Dear everybody,

I am not sure if the coin I attach is a dupondius or an AS and if it is authentic or some sort of copy.

RIC 825a
13,94g, 26mm
Obverse: HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P - Bust of Hadrian, bare-headed, right
Reverse: SC - Diana, draped, standing left, holding arrow in right hand and bow in left

What is your opinion?

Thanks and regards

Looks authentic, and a dupondius if the metal is yellow as the photo seems to show, rather than red.
