Medieval or Ancient?
« on: August 11, 2018, 02:45:16 am »
I have seen this design before but I cannot remember where.

The diameter is 15mm.
The coin is not cleaned so, I'm not sure how much weight would help.

Any hints where to look for the description are highly appreciated :)

It looks more like a button than a coin.

In some sense it is similar to the eagles on coins of the Carnutes:

But it is not a real match  :(.
