« on: June 16, 2018, 11:31:37 pm »
Hey guys, I just received this coin from a seller that said Samanta Deva, but after a wide search I just noticed that probably all Samanta Deva coins where silver coins, not copper. Could u help me figure out the emperor from this coin? Thank you very much!!!!!

Length: 14mm
Weight: ???

Bull and horseman jitals were copied for multiple centuries by a number of kingdoms and even Sultanates. They range from good (.800 ish) silver down to billon or copper. Yours is not a Samanta Deva issue, but alas I am not familiar enough with Nagari to read it. Try posting it on worldofcoins.eu or coincommunity.com; drnsreedhar (CCF) and several others are experts at these.
