Thick encrustations on Greek bronze!
« on: April 09, 2018, 03:34:31 am »
I’ve been soaking this coin in distilled water for roughly a year and have been using wooden picks to work at the encrustations. So far I’ve made little progress. Anyone have any tips on something to do different? Thanks
-Josh

That is a deeply corroded coin--chances it will not come out beautifully--but you could try vinegar.
