unknown Roman/Greek coin Idenification help
« on: February 19, 2018, 03:03:41 am »
hi all, I have a coin I found in a can of nuts and bolts which i am not even sure how it made it into my shed..
it looks roman i think. however i know nothing about coins.

I've no idea what it is or where it come from and I cant find the letter combination anywhere on any of the seach engines, the letter pattern is also giving me nothing.

I'm stumped!

FRONT:   ANTWHIOCAYTOKPATW?TNTONPIWNANAPWN

REAR:  BACIAICCAKA?OHATPAOCANCWTEPA

any ideas?

this is interesting.

when you say reproduction, what era would it be from? do you mean like an early forged coin?
