The salamander looks modern in style.  I can't recall ever having seen an authentic ancient object in this style.

Is there any item that looks like this from any known archeological report or museum? 

Just because another item, that appears to come from the same mould, was sold by an online dealer does not make it a genuine item.  In fact the similarities are rather suspicious.
