Four columns with the letters described would be Hendin 1224 / Meshorer 101.

Not sure you have five columns as the coin is so worn.

The problem is size - H1224 should be between 5-6grams, 19-20mm

Maybe Hendin 1221 with letters L-I-B

The weight difference takes it outside the norm for the type H1224. That isn't impossible but makes other types a consideration like H1221.

You have the coin in hand and can look at it under magnification to answer two questions: Is there really a fifth column? Are you sure it's not a B? I don't know a example with five columns. That's a concern. The B would be a match to H1221

One other approach you can use with a very worn coin is to review the outline of the Obverse portrait to know examples of both suspect types. Not an exacting matching method but again you might find what looks to be a die match and point your search in a certain direction

I really can't tell much more from the photo's

looking at others similar items[from my private Collection] with philip Temple posted below, you can notice that the Pediment end is corresponding or matching with the last 4th column, while on the coin posted here for discussion there is "gap" between the pediment end   and the 4th column ???that's why i suspect the presence of 5th column.regarding the letter B/I am not sure about it...I am not good in using Photoshop :-[ to show things and i hope that i make myself understand a little bit ;D
Great thanks for your contribution

Long time no see  ;)

I have inverted the reverse for you, hope this helps you in determining whether or not there is a 5th column.

I suspect the roof structure to be symmetrical. So I dropped a line down from the peak and provided two equal lines as a reference on either side of this line.

If we assume the triangular roof structure is symmetrical then the roof falls short of covering five columns.

It would a an odd coin design with a offset roof structure.

I think the corrosion is giving a false impression of what was there

Hi MC2,

I am just reading your thread now because I don't visit this section of Forum that often.
