Hi Joe/Quadrans,

What period of time does this volume cover? Which rulers?
(I think that may also be what Shawn was asking)

How many volumes do you expect to produce?

Thanks.

The time period are the St Stephan (Istvan the 1st ) to Henricus (Imre ) 997-1204 A.D.  Followed by the Huszar line .

The next Volume  ( Vol II.) will be in March 2018, included the Anonymous Denarius.  The Vol III. will be printed in Summer of 2018 this one included the latest time interval the Kings the house  of  Árpad  to closed date are 1307 A.D.

Link to my article :

Remarks on the Marking-system of the Late Arpad Age Coins

The Answers are not easy because nobody known exactly  which are the time interval of the Anonymous denarius, because they are overlapped some part of both other periods.

Volume I looks promising, Joe. I see that it includes your studies of the sigla. I am looking forward to receiving my copy, and to the release of volume II. Will the second volume complete the series? I will then have to go back and update all the Hungarian albums in my gallery -- roughly 370+ coins (which I am in the process of doing, anyway, as I recently did for Maria). Stkp

Joe, your book arrived last week. I'm looking forward to the next volume. I have so far only gone through my coins of the earliest Arpadian kings and incorporated your book into my write-ups:

Joe, the book is great. I intend to post something more substantive about it eventually. I need to use a bit more thoroughly first. I'll send you a private message first with my thoughts and questions after I have updated my album of Kalman, using your book and other sources I did not have when I posted those coins. Steve

Joe, I just placed my order for volume II. When do you anticipate the release of volume III? Will volume III extend to the end of the Arpadian Dynasty? Stkp

Dear Steve,

In my opinion, the Vol III. will be available the next summer and extend to the end of the Árpadian Dynasty (Late Árpadians) an included the Vencel and Otto, but they are not a member of the Dynasty but the monetary systems and the typology are very similar.
Finally the end of the next year maybe the Vol IV. will be available including the Angevin (Anjou)Dynasty...etc...:)
