Just added this Ecu D'or

So I have wanted a piece of French hammered gold for a while.  find the historical figures represented by these coin to be fascinating individuals. This may be my first piece of French gold, but it probably will not be my last.

Attractive lustrous issue Nice lustre with minor nick and scratch.

very nice, I am torn, I like seeing a beautiful coin, but I am tempted by it to start a whole new area of collecting.  must... limit.... myself!!! <grin>
