I have a coin issued by Geta that was minted in Serdica (scroll down, third coin):

It is a pedigreed coin from the Lindgren collection. It may have been minted in the building mentioned in the article.

Just a few years ago Sofia celebrated the birth of Constantine the Great there and issued commemorate stamps and held an academic conference discussion, including the topic of ancient coins. Nice to see the community and Government support of its past. Thanks for the article, pretty amazing if they indeed discovered the actual mint facility building!
Would be a nice place to visit.

Interesting. Coins of Constantine from the mint of Serdica are quite scarce.
