Got rid of a medieval cutie yesterday ...

France, Henri IV Huitieme d'Ecu 1599

Pretty sure somebody shaved-off a wee bit o' silver somewhere along the way, eh?

I have another coin leaving my collection (a total winner!)

=> Perseus carrying a harpa in one hand and Medusa's severed head in the other hand (pretty cool, eh?)

Oh, and the obverse with Athena and her gryphon-adorned helmet is also pretty sweet (yup, this is one of my favourite coin-types)

AE30 ... a nice big one!
