Hey, I finally added another coin to my inverse-gallery ... yup, I only have 40 coins remaining from my entire cool collection (sad, but true)

However => I'm super glad that somebody scored this awesome sprue-delicious winner!

Thrace, Maroneia, AR tetrobol
Circa 385-360 BC
Diameter: 15 mm
Weight: 2.63 grams
Obverse: Forepart of horse right
Reverse: Grape-bunch on vine within dotted square border
Reference: GCV 1632
Other: cool sprue => nicely toned and sweet centering

NOTE => THIS COIN DID NOT SELL, SO IT'S BACK IN MY COLLECTION (THE DUDE DIDN'T PAY)

Ummm, what is your future thoughts for the Raptors?

FYI => I only remember/loved my best coins (who knew, eh?)

=> yah apparently, it's always better if you don't pull the trigger "every" time ... but it's definitely worth it to go for the ones that you like ... true dat!! (from a dude that's totally ducking-out of the hobby!)

I like you

Amazingly ... I now only have "38" ancient coins in my collection (kinda sad, eh?)

Yah, I had well over 500 sweet ancient animal-coins, but then I got sick and I decided to liquidate my cool collection ...

Cheers (I feel way better now!)

Chemo and miscellaneous crap seems to work ... who knew, eh?

*wah, whatev*

Yah, I'm amazingly appreciative of you coin-folk that have remained in my court and that have high-fived my coins as I've given them up ...

=> I love you guys

 Thumbs Up

Steve P has an eye for coins that we all want to try to achieve.   Since he's in a cold part of Canada,  (that's a joke, kids)  we might want to chill out as much as he does and try to become better contributors and mutual-supporters.

    Be well, Steve!

A nice, clear Gryphon symbol on that As, Steve.  The lucky buyer will be very happy with it.

P.S. It was not me this time.

'Cause it was me!  I'm certainly  looking forward to it and an infrequently-seen Augustan companion.

The clear gryphon sealed the deal.  I have the "coordinating" denarius,  although I do not think it has made to my gallery yet.

Be well,  all!
