Carausius => I have already sold over half of my coins ... but maybe someday I will start to collect again (after I buy my retirement home and settle back west, on Vancouver Island) ... cheers

I sold another one of my nice big Rhodes coins today (AE35)

ISLANDS off CARIA, Rhodos. Rhodes. Æ Drachm
Early-mid 1st century AD
Diameter: 35 mm
Weight: 20.73 grams
Obverse: Antigonos, magistrate. Radiate head of Dionysus left, wearing ivy wreath
Reverse: Nike right on rose, holding wreath and palm frond
Reference: RPC I 2756; BMC 364
Other: 2h … Near VF, earthen green patina, crack running along reverse edge
CNG 374 – Lot #269
