This sweet example from Laodikia is definitely the prize out of my sweet bunch-of-seven "Gorgon & Nike" examples

Diameter: 20 mm
Weight: 8.69 grams
Obverse: Gorgoneion, facing, centered in aegis
Reverse: Winged Nike r. carrying palm branch (ΛAOΔI-KEIAΣ)

Other: Sweet-n-rare!!

This is one of my only "completed sets" ... yup, I seem to be attracted to these coins from the Black Sea (cool coin-fabric)

Wow! These coins are in a category I've only just started paying attention to. That being said, I do see the attraction.

Oh, but I must give most of the credit for the presentation-set to the sweetest coin-collector I know => TIF  (the coin-chick is fricken magic ... she's creative and a whip at chasing-down coin-info)
