Roman Republic Denarius ID
« on: September 16, 2017, 12:25:44 pm »
Hi all!

Can someone help me with the identification of this denariu?

I think it is Pansa Caetronianus Denarius but not sure of it.

On the obverse seems to have suffered with some crystallization?!?

Thanks all comments!

Hello,
you're correct. This denarius belongs to C. Vibius C. f. C. n. Pansa Caetronianus (minted in 48 BC) and the reference is Crawford 449/1a and Sydenham 947 (also RBW 1571). Do you have the weight ?
