NFA XXV: Ancient Greek and Roman Coins, 29 November 1990
« on: September 01, 2017, 07:21:47 pm »
Hello,

if someone has this catalogue, I'd appreciate a scan or a photo of lot 461, or same from Calicó # 4154a.

Thanks,

It's this Constantine? http://coinvac.crabdance.com/810259

I have many NFA catalogs archived. Use this link http://coinvac.crabdance.com/index.php/subcategory/all/period/all/page/0/country/nfa then click the Sale triangle thingy on the left for a list of the individual sales (or just search)

No, Ras. It's supposed to be a Probus aureus as cited here: "Calicó -, cf. 4154a = NFA XXV, 29 November 1990, 461 (bust right). 6.71g, 21mm, 11h."

Citation is from an upcoming sale, so I'm not going to link it here.

But I found the cited coin. Many thanks to the coinvac and the dancing crabs!

Extraordinarily useful database, there. Thanks again.
