What makes you think they are machine made?  They look uneven enough to me.  Especially the rounded top.  I would guess entirely hand made.

That is a relief thanks Shawn, the too rounded hole made me paranoid, from which era do you think these seals are?

I am afraid I have no cue about dates.

Holes would likely have been drilled with a bow-drill and sand so they would be fairly even.  The top though would have been rounded by hand and so is very uneven.

Thanks Shawn, They might be Pre-Roman in my opinion, the black one can be a deer and the white some sort of a fish!!!!

Hi,

These seals are outside my field but here are some observations.

I believe they are ancient: first to second millennium BC. The quadruped on the black one is of a globolo class - made with a large round drill. Late Etruscan scarabs of about 300/350 BC were made this way. Yours are middle eastern and probably older. I don't think they are Hittite or Jemdet Nasr.
If you can, check Buchanan and Moorey, Catalogue of ancient Near eastern seals in the Ashmolean Museum, Vols 1, 2 & 3. Oxford University Press.
